Just a FEW of the friends in my life!

I HAVE THE BEST FRIENDS

My Davis County Guy Friends
Matt, Miss, Briton, Adam, and me - 4th of July 2009!

Me, Jess, Adam, Matt, Scotty, Miss, Ian, Brae, Briton - Mountain biking!

I really love going on dates and hanging out with guys!  Actually I just love my guy friends in general.  During the summer of 2010, I was so sad that every single one of my guy friends were gone on their missions.  They were the ones who even got me through high school.  I miss all the times they would come surprise me at my house to pick me up to go see a movie, get something to eat, or just hang out.  They were my usual lunch buddies.  They included me in everything, and I loved it.  They were my best friends.  I could trust them to always make me feel loved.  They made me feel cooler than I actually was.

My Twin Brother, Ian
Ian and Matt
Ian making us laugh at Briton's cabin haha!
Joe, Claire, Riley, Me, Ian (with long hair!), and I can't remember her name lol. Valentine's dance senior year!

And then suddenly, they were gone.  And the best of them was gone... my twin brother, Ian.  Whenever I was sad, he would do something for me.  One time, when I wasn't happy with an event in cheer, he went and bought me a ring that lit up (it's a ring that it definitely a Callie Ring).  During my last night living at home before moving to college, it seemed as though nobody cared, but when Ian came home, he came home with Hannah Montana: the Movie.  Can you imagine a college aged guy walking around Walmart holding that movie?  Then, on our birthday when I was down at college, he drove down and visited me - not only that, but he acted like it was only my birthday.  He drew no attention to himself.  A couple days before he was leaving on his mission, he drove to Provo to spend the day with me.  While down there, he bought me a pair of jeans.  Through all the times that we argued (oh man, that was too fun), he really treated me so well.  He always knew how to make me laugh.  I remember when we were little, he would always sneak in my room and do stupid, silly things to make me laugh.  One time, he used my microphone and pretended to be a rock star, we were probably in 2nd grade.  If only my parents knew all the times we stayed up so late!  The only thing I disliked was when he would make me laugh when I was mad... because I wanted to be mad, but no, there I would be laughing instead.

Now, he is on his mission and in every email and letter he sends me he tells me how great and beautiful I am.  One time, I was feeling down - everone around me was falling "in like" with somebody.  Some girls just always have boyfriends.  It's so easy for them... and then there's me.  Well, Ian told me that it's because not just any guy can have me like they can the other girls... It has to be someone special.  He also said that once he gets off his mission he will be "mean" again, but for now he has to be his "best missionary self."  But that's besides the point haha.

He's the best brother in the world.  He has NEVER been someone to be afraid or hesitant to be himself.  I wish I were more like him.

My Utah State Guy Friends

Erik and Brent, who made me breakfast in bed on my birthday!

Well, God's got my back, because all of those guys left, and it took some time, but he brought new ones in my life.  Now, I will never replace the guys I just talked about.  Everyone says that I won't be friends with them my whole life like I think I will.  However, I know that's not true.  Everyone also said that I would stop doing things with them after high school.  Well, even with most of them 2.5 hours away, I still hung out with them and talked with them on the phone all the time.  I will always be friends with them.

As far as my new guys friends... they are in my ward and are great: the Sigep Guys!

1.  They are all honorable returned missionaries with the Priesthood and are trying to be the best they can be.
2.  They are nice to everyone and they show so much love to others. (some people think they show too much love haha)
3.  I can always trust them to make me smile and laugh.  Actually, they are always making me laugh... whether they have to tickle me to do it or not.  Oh... their cruel, cruel ways. :)
4.  They've got my back.  I feel that they would know better than to believe what a gossiping person says about me.
5.  They tell me I'm great.  Every now and again, I believe them.
6.  One sunday, all of my roommates were gone and I was going to spend all day alone.  So, they came over and spent the day with me and made me dinner.
7.  They helped me a whole lot to create a good looking resume.
8.  When feeling insignificant, they make me feel significant.
9.  Best of all, they are so strong in the gospel.  I look up to them so much.  They are consistently helping others, whether it's in service or just making someone smile.  They are guys that I can look up to.  They are examples in my life.

One day, our lives are going to go separate ways. However, they helped make my first year at Utah State everything it was meant to be, and that's what matters.
Gal Friends

Lauren, Kayla, Steph, Aubs, me (this one is missing Natali)

Me and Nat making shelves.  BTW it started snowing really, really hard.. and we both took off our coats so that they wouldn't get soggy wood on them.

Yay for roommates! It's going to be so different having new ones this next year! We've had so much fun!

Aubri: is always with Taylor, yet remains my sister for always!  We still talk about boys like we are little teenage girls.

Natali: is so great and she doesn't even know it.  At the end of the day, we are either talking about the deep topics of life, or rolling around laughing on the floor.  Need an adventure? Come to us.

Kayla: is a sweetheart.  She will always remind you to have fun and be careless in life.  She will also never fail to make you laugh.

Lauren: is so strong.  She knows how to make you feel like it's ok to just be yourself - never apologize for who you are or how you feel.

Stephanie (I know she moved out, but she was with us the majority of the year): will always give you advice.  She knows just what to say and will always help you out.

Work Friends of Forever

Ok, I basically LOVE all of these girls! Even if it's been a while since we've seen each other at times, we still remain friends, and that's what it's all about!  Thank you Centerville City Recreation!! (This isn't limited to these girls, I love all of you peeps - and yes, I just said peeps!)

*BASICALLY, I AM SO BLESSED TO HAVE SUCH GREAT FRIENDS SURROUNDING ME*
